Wire Mesh over elastomer - 1500 range

Wire mesh over elastomer consists of a double layer wire mesh which has been knitted over a round or rectangular core. The outer layer acts as an EMI shield whilst the inner elastomer core acts as a dust and moisture seal.

The standard mesh material is Monel or tin-plated copper clad steel (SnCuFe).

Applications
Wire mesh over elastomer is ideal where surfaces can be uneven or low closure forces are present, for applications Arka Technologies' non-fraying cut to length service is the best solution, for example cabinet doors.
